As a primary care naturopathic doctor, I place a strong emphasis on disease prevention, patient education, and a holistic approach to healthcare. I see patients of all ages for preventative care, as well as acute and chronic illnesses. Additionally, I focus on natural approaches to cardiovascular, endocrine, digestive, and women’s health problems including fertility issues. It is my goal to thoroughly understand the biochemical makeup of each individual. With this insight we (patient and doctor) are ready to start the healing process by removing the root cause of the illness and working to rebuild a healthier you. I utilize clinical nutrition, diet and foods, botanical medicine, homeopathy, bio-identical hormones, intravenous therapy, lifestyle counseling and other therapies to meet the varied needs of my patients. In my spare time I enjoy the beautiful Ventura outdoors with my husband Dr. Matt, whether it be surfing, stand-up paddling, hiking in the local hills, or gardening. We also enjoy working out together doing CrossFit, cooking healthy meals together, and talking about the latest news and research in medicine.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your initial visit includes a comprehensive intake with a detailed history, current supplement analysis, and physical exam. Appropriate conventional or other specialized laboratory testing may be ordered at that time. A treatment plan with a discussion of lab results, diet, nutrition and other health recommendations will follow on a separate visit. Please allow 90 minutes for this first visit. An optimal course of treatment requires a thorough understanding of your health history. I enjoy speaking with my patients, thus I allow time to discuss your important heath concerns. I look forward to working with you one-on-one to create a personalized program to help you optimize your health.
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR FIRST VISIT

* Copies of any laboratory work that you have had done in the last year or so.
